Founded in 1954, the Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (KAHSA) represents not-for-profit (NFP) long-term care provider organizations throughout Kansas.  KAHSA members serve nearly 20,000 Kansas seniors in nursing homes, retirement communities, hospital long-term care units, assisted living residences, senior housing and through community-based services.  Their mission is to assist its members to provide services and supports to aging Kansans in the place they call home.

The Kansas Department on Aging mission is to promote the security, dignity and independence of Kansas seniors.

The Kansas Foundation for Medical Care, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization focused on improving healthcare quality. They ensure that Medicare and Medicaid patients receive appropriate and quality healthcare. KFMC, Inc. also educates consumers so that they can make informed decisions about healthcare.

Pioneer Network is a center for all stakeholders in the field of aging and long term care whose focus is on providing home and community for elders. They believe that the quality of life and living for America’s elders is rooted in a supportive community and cemented by relationships that respect each of us as individuals regardless of age, medical condition or limitations.

Kansas Adult Care Executives (KACE) is the only professional association dedicated to serving the unique needs of the Adult Care Executive.  KACE is the Association that examines the issues and challenges of the long-term care industry from the administrator’s perspective.  KACE is dedicated to providing the education, skills, and information the professional administrator needs to stay ahead in our rapidly changing field.
